Ministry Assistant

The Ministry Assistant will play a vital role in the daily operations of the Pregnancy Center. Working closely with the Client Services Manager, the Ministry Assistant will greet clients and visitors, prepare and maintain client files, oversee front office operations, answer phones, and schedule appointments. Job Responsibilities
Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the Center.
Answers phone calls, schedules appointments and meetings.
Supports clients and visitors.
Ensures confidential data entry and record keeping of volunteers and clients
Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning administrative projects and expediting work results.
Oversees the organization and coordination of mailings.
Maintains front office supplies, reports, and documents.
Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
Supports volunteers, the director, and CSM by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication.
Acts as a representative of the Center, including upholding and encouraging the support of the organization’s Christian pro-life mission, vision, core beliefs, and values.
Educated on center services, policies, and events.
Provides information by answering client and donor questions and requests.
Maintains a clean and organized front office and lobby.
Contributes to the center's efforts.
Attends and assists in training as advised.
Skills and Qualifications
Administrative Writing Skills
Microsoft Office Skills
Able to manage and carry out processes and procedures.
Excellent leadership skills
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills. Ability and desire to work cooperatively and professionally with staff and all constituencies. Treat others with respect, honesty, and integrity working towards Christian (scripture based) peace and unity.
Ability to multitask -- organize multiple projects and set priorities.
Willingness to seek assistance when problems or situations are beyond the responsibility and knowledge of the person/position.
Ability and willingness to demonstrate commitment to the organization’s mission and vision.
Committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
Agreement with and willingness to uphold the Statement of Principle, Statement of Faith, and policies of the center.
Has strong commitment and dedication to the sanctity of human life, and thus, would never refer or advise a woman to have an abortion.
Ability to carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision.
Prayer is an important part of sustaining this ministry. We encourage you to make prayer in your personal life a priority and attend our devotion and prayer time every Wednesday at 9:30.

Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent education required.
Preferred office assistant experience
Knowledge of appropriate software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
At least one year of experience in ministry leadership
